Weddings

Foreheads together, her hand on his braces, in the studio

A kiss in pure silhouette against white

On a white Vespa in the evening sun, red dress and braces

Dancing beside an old sandstone wall in low sun

Bride and groom small among tall trees, in black and white

She looks up at him, a baby’s-breath bouquet between them, in autumn woods

The bride feeds a horse from her hand, the groom at her side

The bride laughing through the window of the wedding car, in black and white

Hand in hand, walking away across the grass, the train trailing behind

Two gold rings resting in an orange garden rose

A kiss under a chandelier, seen through a half-open door

A kiss on a jetty, mirrored in the pond below

The bride framed in an arched doorway, veil down, in black and white

The ceremony seen from the back of the aisle, petals along the carpet

Both laughing on the Vespa in the old town
